CARDIAC IMAGING EXAMINATION
Your first step for the Cardiac Imaging Diploma
The next Examination will be offered during the ESCR 2016 Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in krakow, Poland.
The Cardiac Imaging Examination (CI Examination) was introduced by ESCR during the Annual Scientific Meeting 2009 in Leipzig as a written multiple choice examination. In 2010, on occasion of the Annual Congress in Prague, the examination was offered on a computer based system, using the online Self Assessment Tool by ESR.
The Cardiac Imaging Examination is now an essential part of the European Diploma for Cardiac Imaging. People, especially young (cardiac) radiologists, passing the examination have completed an important step towards their diploma. The Examination is the introduction to the Cardiac Imaging Diploma.
Continuing with the important education in Cardiac Imaging, the examination will be offered on a regular basis on occasion of the Annual Scientific Meetings of ESCR every year.
Requirements to sign up for the Cardiac Imaging Examination:
- An active ESCR Membership and valid congress registration are required
- Payment of the Examination fee (Euro 20.00)
Course of action
The CI examination is a web-based test, candidates are being asked 24 multiple choice questions (MCQ).
Application for the CI Examination
To sign up for the Cardiac Imaging Examination, kindly ensure to fullfil the above indicated criteria and send an email to the ESCR office (firstname.lastname@example.org) to participate at the respective examination. Kindly note places are limited and offered in the order applications are received.
Certificate - CI Examination
All candidates having successfully passed the Examination may download their Certificate in their ESCR MyUserArea.
